Can we use basic stamp to configure AC H-bridge circuit

Can we use basic stamp to configure AC H-bridge circuit.

1)Can AC power be used in a H-bridge circuit?

Pls help me as i heard from other that h bridge can only me used on DC power supply.

Traditionally the H-bridge is a DC beast.

The usual way to use an AC motor would be with an AC variable frequency drive or an AC servo driver. Both are designed to be used with 3-phase AC motors.

Unless you have a specific high-horsepower application, DC will be a cheaper way to go.

anyone know how to use triacs to control the AC single phase motor?· Cos i want to control it by that way anyone got any idea?

The speed controller for the AC motor above (electronickits.com) is only for AC motors with brushes.· It will not work reliably on an AC induction motor.

You are right about it not being for an induction motor, but I didnt know what type of motor he had.
