Relay with the BS1

I hooked up a relay to my BS1, so when the command HIGH PIN7 is given, the relay should trigger. The triggering part is hooked up to PIN7 and GND.
When I say HIGH PIN7, nothing happens [noparse]:([/noparse]

Is it b/c after I call HIGH PIN7 I call a GOTO? Should I pause for 1 second?

What am I doing wrong?

You cannot run a relay (relay coil) directly from a Pin.· You need a transistor.· I'm figuring that you·haven't·read this -- www.parallax.com/dl/docs/cols/nv/vol1/col/nv6.pdf

You can also try using a Logic Level Relay board, TTL Relay Board. Which you can·turn on and off·the relays on the board·using your basic stamp.
