Wireless keychain

Parallax used to have a wireless key chain module in stock for about 50 dollars. We used them in class to race boe bots and learn about RC controllers. However, we will need more of them to teach the next group of students. Parallax no longer sells them. Is anyone knowledgable about cheap RC controllers that can be used and interfaced well with the boe-bot BASIC stamp?

Think Inside the box first and if that doesn't work..
