Hey Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone was going to be at the EasTec Trade show in Springfield Massachusetts this week. If so, make sure you stop by booth 5771 and check out the "Tap-Assist" project. It is a project I've been working on for the past few months, it's (of course) Propeller powered.

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

People say that if you play Microsoft CD's backwards, you hear satanic things, but that's nothing, because if you play them forwards, they install Windows.

I spent a minute looking at my own code by accident. I was thinking "What the heck is this guy doing?"

Sorry, I don't think it's online yet (company page: http://www.titantoolco.com ). Anyway, the company (Titan Tool Company Inc.) makes arms that support the weight of a power tool. My project is for use with a hole Tap or Screw or Stud Driving. Using an Encoder to measure the angle of a joint in the arm and a set 'zero point', it calculates how deep into the part the tool is, and reverses that power tool at a pre-set depth. The user can select between 6 deferent depths; new depths can be set by a the foreman with the use or a laptop, a usb cable, and a GUI I wrote in python.

    Hope this explains it,
    Craig
