Crawler kit for Boe-Bot problem..

I recently got and built a Crawler kit for my Boe-bot, but whatever I do, I can't seem to get my Boe-bot to crawl in a straight line.

I've tried re-tightening and loosening each of the screws to try and even it out, but that only worked for about two seconds of walking straight. I've tried changing the pulsout values, but either way it gets worse (somehow).

I really don't know what to do from here. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Did the bot go straight with the wheels? If so try setting it up on a hard surface for testing.

Are the legs synchronizing when it walks? This seems to happen after a bit of walking and it provides better straight lines.

Franklin has a point…If the wheels/servos aren’t calibrated the crawler kit will be off also. I hope this helps. Take care.

Yes, Franklin, it did go straight with the wheels. I even re-calibrated the servos after I put the crawler kit on.

Ken, that's my main problem. It looks like one goes a little faster than the other, even though the servos are set to the same speed.

Can you take a clear picture of both sides of the robot so we can see how everything is connected? Perhaps there is an issue with a linkage or something not easily noticed.

I think I figured out the problem on my own. I've been waayy too busy to work on it since I posted this, but I've looked at it carefully. It seems the center screw is much tighter on one side than the other. I'll fix that when I have time, and hope is works..

    Mmm, thank you for that.

Perhaps the New topic button could be a bit further away from the reply button. Or it's just me...

Oh. Well. Perhaps I should've read part or all of the help center...
