Sound synthesis

··· Greetings,
I'm interested in this chip. I can see that it can handle real-time FFT's. That's a good start for the product I'm looking to make. Do you think it could excel at Sound synthesis? How hard would it be to get this chip talkingwith a big block of RAM, an Analog Devices DSP, or an FPGA?
Any, and all replies are appreciated.

p.s. The poll doesn't work. It doesnt let you specify replies. Are you aware of this?

And check out this thread: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=650939·which shows connection of FPGA and memory to a Propeller. There is similarly no issue with connecting a Propeller to a DSP.
There are also some drivers for sound availible:

And you should check out this thread to see what people have done with the Propeller thus far:

The double post was unintentional. The lag made me think my message was discarded.
Glad to hear the chip can accept good company. Are there any restrictions on products incorporating this chip? Would I be allowed to market and sell a hardware synthesizer freely? Thank-you for the links-I will study them carefully.
