Could some kind soul work me through how you calculate the various VGA parameters such as horizontal front porch, horizontal back porch, horizontal sync tick, etc. or point me in the direction of where I can get more information on selecting them?
I'm trying to modify the parameters of the standard VGA_Text module to give 40x15 text - 640x480 at as close to a standard 60hz as possible - I've got figures that work on my monitor (although it seems to be particularly forgiving) but they don't come out as the standard 60hz rate.
