Hb-25 Motor controller problems
Hi
Ive recently got hold of a HB-25 motor controller, but i have a problem with it.
Im using basic stamp 2 and have used the sample code supplied from parallax website.
It works fine with the sample code, ramps upto full speed and back down not a problem, but as soon as a bit of load is put on the output shaft the motor ramps to about half speed, then·stops and shudders. im only using a small motor off of a remote contolled helicopter.
What i want to know if anyone can help me is,
also im sure·got it all connected fine, the only wierd bit is the motor connections, ive got the motor connected to the·M1(+) and M2(-), is this correct?
Also does it use the power supplied to the Hb-25 or servo -,+ to power the motor?
Well thanks for looking, Benjamin Nitschke

- Why is the motor just stopping at half speed with load?
- Is it possible to have the motor to goto full speed without ramping?

Is your power supply adequate for what you’re doing? Not power is received through the signal connection. The red wire is not connected on the HB-25. It gets its power from the motor supply. Take care.
