Another suggestion similar to TechnoRobbo is to use a program called
SpinRite from GRC.Com. You can download a trial version to see if
it works.
This program is truly miraculous in recovering data from a hard drive
crash. I've used it to bring back to life hard drives that the BIOS
couldn't find.
It only works for drives connected to the IDE controller on motherboards.
Won't function on external hard drives.
Comments
The data on the EEPROM is all tokens for the interpreter and not in a human readable form. You will have to rewrite your program. Take care.
