where is the robot hospital?

I had an unfortunate accident with my bot during a test run, which resulted in my PING getting smashed. it still works but the transducer and receiver are smashed (I think that's what they are called). the metal cylinders are smashed on one side. it looks like I could unsolder them and replace them.. can someone tell me if that's the case? and if so where to get them.

I'm not an expert, but once you consider your time it may just be easier to purchase a new one.· It's only $30 and at least you will know the new one will work.

I would call Parallax tech support or customer service... I am sure they will be able to help you.

Unfortunately we don't stock the transducers alone, so replacing them isn't an option.

I think this falls under the "user damaged" category, unfortunately.

You could call us and talk one of our sales people into a low-cost RMA replacement.

What's the center frequency on the Ping?

Update -- Burst Frequency - 40 kHz for 200 uS
