GPS Receiver Module

I have recently purchased a Parallax gps receiver module and I have it mounted on a Super Carrier board with a BS2p24 cpu.· Using the GPSDemoV1.1.bs2, I get no response from the gps receiver.· The receiver is connected to P12 on the cpu and I modified the· statement in the software to reflect the different pin.· It was originally PIN 15.

Sio············ PIN···· 12

The three axis accelerometer on the same board connected to PIN 15, 14, and 13 works fine using the demo software for it.
The voltages on the receiver are correct.· The /raw pin has no connection.
Using a digital voltmeter·on the Sio line, I see absolutely no movement as you normally would with a serial line.

Any help is appreciated.

The data fields for the program headers remain blank and a no response from gps error message is received.

Did you know the constant for 9600 is different between the bs2 in the demo and your bs2p? 188 is for the 2 and 500 is for the 2p.
Take a look at this. http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=464409
