Yes it can. The PSC outputs standard servo pulses and the HB-25 is controlled by them. The only thing you cannot do is run the HB-25 in mode two from a single PSC output since it cannot generate the pulses for that mode. I hope this helps. Take care.

Chris, Thanks for the reply. Yes, it helps alot. Next question: The HB25 documentation warns of possible false signals being sent to the HB25 on start up and shut down. Is this still a worry when using the PSC?
Not really, because the PSC will immediately start sending out a stop pulse so the HB-25 will always be told to stop. Just be sure the PSC is on before the HB-25 or at least at the same time. Take care.

Before the HB25 is turned on? Do you mean before power is applied from the servo controller? So, I should put a switch on the lcd ext. line between the HB25 and the PSC? Or before its is applied from the seperate batteries for the motors, so the switch would be between the HB25 and the 12v Lead Acid Batteries that power the motors?
The HB-25 is not powered through that Extension Cable. It gets its power from the motor supply. All the Extension Cable does is carry the signal and common ground. So when you switch the motor power on the PSC should already be sending out its pulses. Take care.
