how to post schematics?

I have tried saving a schematic in several formats but they are either too big to post or not ledgable. The original drawing is in a program called canvas that not to many people have.
I have not tried yet but I also am not sure how to post my PBasic code for the Stamp program.

If your program does not support saving to JPG or GIF format, use a screen capture program set to capture
a user selected box that covers the whole schematic, and set the capture to( 1640x1280 ) in JPG format if possible.

Then load that capture into a good paint program and convert it to greyscale and resave using compressed
    jpg format...

By using greyscale compressed jpg, you will save the smallest black/white image possible...

You should then be able to upload to the forum..

I do the same when I prep images for web pages.

Thanks Bob. It has been like dejavu? all over again testing this but it looks like I can do it. Not quite like you suggested but I got a ledgable JPG of reasonable size.

Always use GIF or PNG for schematics if you can. JPG is not suitable for line drawings, as its lossy compression leaves visible artifacts that detract from legibility.
