I just wanted to point out a minor documentation error. On page 10 of the SX48BD data sheet Rev 1.5 it says
PORTRD of the T2CNT2 register determines how the device reads data from its I/O ports
That should be T2CNTB to be consistent with other parts of the document.

Some other vendors seem to let publications go out without much critical review. It is painstaking, boring work [noparse][[/noparse]so is putting in a good index]. Fortunately, Parallax seems to make everyone read for errors. And so much material is at your fingertips for little or no cost.
By the way, we haven't gotten to an SX84 yet, have we?
