VGA (bitmapped) and Graphics?

Hi!
Another question I stuck with:
Is Graphics.spin supposed to work with VGA_512x384?
I mean if I only use the screen as buffer (so no double buffering), it should work. But all I get are a bunch of pixels spread over a narrow strip on the screen.
Edit:
I just realized, that the bitmapped-VGA is basically a B&W graphics (disregarding the color-tiles). Graphics expects more colors.
So I should have to extend the question:
Is there a B&W-graphics available that works with bitmapped VGA?
TIA,
Nick
