Question on pumps controlled by basic stamp 2

Hi,
··· Does anyone know of a better water pump that can work with basic stamp 2·than the one on parallax website?·I am building and automatic pool cleaner which will be controlled by the basic stamp microcontroller.
The pump will have to be strong enough to fill a 5 Gallon fish tank which I am using in place·of a pool·at a decent rate. Also if anyone can recommend a dosier pump that I could use to contain/dump pool chemicals in the pool that would be great also.

Any pool supply store should have pumps and other parts. You can use an SSR (solid state relay) to switch 110vac if that's the power the pump takes.
