I am working my way through the Stampworks PDB.·Experiment No. 11: BASIC LCD DEMONSTRATION ·I am NOT·getting the LCD to work as shown.· I have verified my wireing 3 times.· I have placed a 4.7 k resister (Yellow Violet Red) at E and on the white proto board at VSS.··It shows the program to be tokenized.··confused.gif···

    Often the problem is with the LCD contrast. If there is a contrast knob, try turning slowly, first one way and then the other.

    Also remove the 4.7K resistor as it is already included on the PDB, so the additional 4.7K you added is causing the pull-down to be a tough 2.3K. Take care.
