accidental 24V on pins 0,1..

Fellow stampers;
smhair.gif I accidentally applied 24 Volts to pins 0,1 on my stamp BS2pe! Now it no longer responds to program downloads and gets very hot when I switch on my PDB. I disconnected the wires on IN0,1 and was hoping maybe only those 2 pins would be damaged. Please Advise.
Thanks, John

    It sounds like you've destroyed the processor. 24V applied to one or two I/O pins without current limiting to no more than maybe 20-30ma could certainly do it.

    Stamps are pretty robust, but there are limits. Condolences!
