1-Wire Connection to the propeller

I've been setting up to monitor some water quality parameters from a set of bouys and I've assembled all of the sensors, and now I'm ready to port the works to a microprocessor. I'm a software geek, not a hardware one, so my question is basic.

I've read the descriptions about interfacing a 5v circuit, but I want to make sure I understand how to interface the 1-wire devices (all powered externally) to the Propeller. I see the software routines, I'm more worried about the 3 to 5v issue.

How exactly is it connected ? Thanks

One wire's communication speed is slow enough that you can use a series resistor to limit the current sourced by the 5V one wire device.
