Communicating with BS-1 with matlab from a serial interface

We have a Memsic 2125·accelerometer connected to the BS-1 Project Board and are trying to·display tilt angles (pitch and yaw) to·MATLAB via a serial connection.· We disabled the debug window but in reality we need help with the·MATLAB serial port..· Please advise..
