Hello everybody
I am new to stamps...
I had a simple pid module and I would like to experiment a little with the stamp2...
how can i connect a pt-100 thermometer to the stamp and how can I get 4-20mA output..??
I am a control systems student and I want to experiment with the algorithms but I do not know much about electronics...
any help will be appreciated...

If you're needing real industrial signals, you'll need an A/D converter ( LTC1298) for the inputs and a D/A (LTC1451, I think) for the output. Then, get a pt-100 signal conditioner for the sensor to feed the input a/d and a voltage-to-current converter module to read the d/a and convert it to 4-20 mA.
Parallax or Digikey have the a/d and d/a. A good source of industrial equipment like the signal conditioners is Automation Direct; they're online.
Cheers,
