·Im using the pwmpal to output a variable pulsewidth at a steady frequency cotrolled by a pot. It works but when i scoped the signal i noticed that the pwmpal does not put out a pulse during the period of time that the stamp is comunicating with it, so the result is a glitch in the output at a frequency equal to the amount of time it takes the stamp to execute the program. So· is this unavoidable or is it all in the programing.

I have not used pwm pal bit it sounded like a software timiing issue so I read the data sheet.

There are two ways to set up PWM, hardware and software, I am taking a guess you are using software control and not hardware control. If you are I would suggest using the hardware control pwm output feature. Not sure if they use glitch free phase correct pwm or what frequencies you are working with either, that could give a clue as to what the problem might be.

Think Inside the box first and if that doesn't work..
Re-arrange what's inside the box then...
