This is my equivalent of doodling. Now don't forget to ask your kid before you go and steal his or her Erector set :-)

Was it all made with parts from a single erector set. It looks like the special edition set, the one with the crane on the front of the book. Is it this one: BC023.jpg
I hope its all from that one set because I have that set and this "ErectoToddler" looks great and I want to make it.

    Hi dbc,
I have 2 of those same kits. All the parts are mixed up. I am sure that there must be parts from each set. I have seen these kits on ebay at reasonable prices.

    TOm,

This thing is really cool. Looks like there are a few DuBro parts in there too. I have a old Steel Tec set up in the closet...maybe I could...
I always thought a homework board might be fun to use.

I just finished it this weekend. The stock toddler code almost works but with a few changes it should be good. I built it with just the parts from one erector set, but the top plate is plastic sheet that I drilled to make every thing work.

We really must get lives.·· I'm sure there's more to life than bipedal and quadrupedal walking machines.· That's what I've heard, anyway.

Truly great looking projects.· Nice work.

I imagine, you could also build a similar frame with the Pre-IF VEX parts too..

    very nice design!
