On page 278 in the Boe-Bot text (Robotics2_2.pdf) I am uncertain how the value of Kp=35 is derived.· Does anybody know how this was derrived?· Thanks.

    Hello Hacktorius,

    the value Kp is not derived, it is an ingoing value. You can use another one if you want.
    What you will learn as you proceed with the exercise is the relation between Kp and the speed of correction
    and also the relation between Kp and the remaining error between wanted (set-point) and steady-state value.
