How could I charge up this little Lg Lithium ion 3.7 V 1000mAh battery? I still don't understand Ohm's Law yet, but I would imagine I could make my own charger from a resistor and·a few other batteries, like AAs for example. I just want to charge it up without fyin it.
Thanks...

DO NOT try to charge a Lithium battery of any kind without a properly designed charger. You may get a fire or explosion and these are nasty!

I have a "Universal Charger" from Maha (Model MH-C777-Plus II). They make a variety of chargers for both Nickel-based and Lithium-based batteries with a wide range of voltages. Others make similar units.

There are some good charger chips on the market now due to the widespread use of Lithium rechargables and you may be able to find a kit or "breakout board" with one of these charger chips on it. Make sure the chip is made for the type of Lithium battery you have. Again, if there's a mismatch, you may have a nasty fire if you try to charge with the wrong type of charger.

    Sparkfun has a single-cell Li-ion charger on a single PCB for $15

As Mike said, those fires are nasty!
When these cells burn they release oxygen, so they're very difficult to extinguish.

My brother flys RC stuff. He had a fire with one where a small screw head made enough of a nick in the battery to cut through it, poof. Don't put these things in a junk drawer either.

Think Inside the box first and if that doesn't work..
Re-arrange what's inside the box then...
    Think outside the BOX!
