Hi!

I have a·OBD scanner·witch sends seriell strings to my stamp on port 3,4 (3 tx and 4 rx).

Now i want to split this signal so i can see the data on the attached lcd and on the computer where i use a "real" program.

I use a BS2.

Anybody got ideas or schematics?

Can you explain what you mean by "split"?

If the OBD is sending at +- 10 volt levels ("true" RS-232 signal levels) then you can route this signal both to the BS2 and a PC at the same time.

The problem is, any 'handshaking' (sending TO the OBD) must be done by only one of the devices -- I assume the BS2 will do this, or your "real" program can do this, but not both.
