in my microcontroller i have serial connection port(RS-232) with 3 wire and 5 wire...

but printer inkjetki has TTL connection. So how could i convert TTL to RS-232?

thanx

The problem is that the "RS232" specification has some ambiguity about it.

I'd be surprised if your Inkjet printer used TTL signalling. Perhaps it uses TTL Parallel. Perhaps it uses RS-232 +- 10 volt signalling. And probably your Microcontroller does RS-232 signalling at TTL levels.

A MAX-232 chip does TTL on one side, +-10 volts on the other side. So that's the simple answer to your question. But as I say, you really need to nail down how many pins, and what voltage levels, each side uses.

If you're referring to our Serial Inkjet Printer module then it has a single bi-directional I/O line, so it would work much like the interface for our GPS to RS-232 which I have attached for you. Which Microcontroller are you using?
