Propeller based Boe-Bot

Im gonna buy the boe-bot hardware kit and outfit it with a 25 dollar Proto board. Total cost: 'Bout 100 bucks compared to 130 for the whole BOE.

Also propeller is easier (and cheaper) to replace and is much faster than a Stamp.

    You might want to invest in one of SparkFun's SD card breakout boards ($15) so you can use BOE-BOT Basic (http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=635533). You can use the programming serial port for control until you feel like going wireless with an xBee.

    You will probably also need the Propeller Plug for loading programs into the Propeller chip. Part# 32201, cost $29.95.

    Here's a link to a similar robot a guy built with the Propeller Education Kit. The PE Kit also includes the Propeller Plug and many of the circuit in the parts bag that comes with the Boe-Bot full kit.
