Hi Every One
I have one more item that i am looking for a stepper motor·water valve
I am not sure how to Google for what i·am looking for can some one help
with this or a Web Link
A gate valve or some type valve·that you mount to a stepper motor
with 3/8 pipe thread· any·good
Something that will not have to pay an arm and a leg for
This is for a project where i need to know how much flow·and control the flow of water and control a heater with a Basic Stamp
I can not go into any more detail than this at this time
Thank You ·for any help that give in this matter

It sounds like a linear actuator (which is operated like a stepper motor) and a ball cock valve might do the trick for you, unless you need real fine adjustment.

Do you really need proportional control over the flow? If not, a solenoid valve would be a lot cheaper than one with a motor. With it, you could regulate the longterm flow by modulating the short term flow between full on and full off. And if you never wanted it to be off completely, you could install a manual bypass valve around the solenoid valve to set the minimum flow.

Here are just some examples of linear actuator:

You will have to find one that meets your specifications.
