Does any of you buy stuffs from Mark III Robot Store (http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/)? Is this an on-line con shop?

I ordered a few items from them about a month ago but the order never came. I wrote to their e-mail more than six times asking them when they send out the items but no response at all.

Am I conned?

I did the same thing. After four weeks I emailed them about it and I didn't recieve anything back. Finally after six weeks
my package came in the mail.

I would advise everyone not to order from Mark III Robot Store.

    Beware folks.

I think Mark III Robot Shop is a con shop. I had ordered approx. USD100.00 worth of goods more than 6 weeks ago but the order never came. I tried writing more than 10 e-mails to them but they never reply.

My advise is do not buy from this website.

Can someone help me to report this case to the police dept? I am from Singapore.

I paid by PayPal and I am trying to get a refund from them.

Apparently a member of Portland Area Robotic Society (PARTS) had the same problem last year. Why PayPal do not ban this seller ??? I thought this site is safe as it is verified by PayPal.

The following message is posted in the PARTS Yahoo Group on 3rd Aug 2006:

    Hello, I'm Paolo from Italy.

More than a month ago (28 june) I've bough a MarkIII kit from
junun.org and I've payed it with paypal.
Unfortunately I've not received any information about the shipping
and delivery about my robot. I was waiting for the additional charge
    to send it to italy.
I've tried several times to contact Junun.org using all my email
address and all the email address present on junun.org web site.
So I've opened a contestation through paypal.
I thought It was a spam problem, for example that my email was
    refused
from the junun.org server, but the strange is that requesting a
refund with Pypal there is a comunication between Paypal and the
seller, so probably not email in this case.
After 20 days I've received the refund because the seller not
responded for 20 days to the comunication from paypal!!!
Until now still no comunication from Junun.org!!

Now I've bought a sumovore kit in italy and from a week I'm playing
with it. I preferred to have a MarK III instead of a Sumovore for the
ability of the MarkIII to be programmed through the serial port...
I still don't know if a day the Mark III will arrive in italy!!!!

I'm my opinion the united states and Canadian customer have better to
directly make a phone call to the junun.org responsible and to ask
    the situation!!

They owe me a part as well. I ordered six weeks ago and can't get a response from anyone about my order. I closed my PayPal account because I feared something was wrong with the whole transaction. Now I can't get PayPal to answer my questions.

If anyone receives their order, I'd appreciate a PM.

    Regards,

    Joss

    Anyone tried calling them?

In this day and age, there are people more apt to 'deal' on the phone rather than email!

Perhaps they got too much spam and closed their email accounts...or changed them but didn't update Paypal/website addresses.

That web site is listed prominently on the following web page as being a "local" source (local to Portland OR): http://www.portlandrobotics.org/index.php?id=14

On the junun web site, this page suggests some relationship to the Portland Area·Robotics (Technology) Society, but note that it dates itself to 2002: http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/About.jsp

You might contact the P.A.R.T.S., at vicepres@portlandrobotics.org,·to inquire who junun is and why it is listed as a "local" supplier. (That is the only contact point I could locate for PARTS; the current VP is listed as "Vice President: Mark Medonis".· Of course, given the very elusive contact information for both organizations (on their respective web sites), you may want to remain skeptical about who you are talking with at PARTS --it may be the very same junun person(s)......

Good luck getting your stuff. I've been ripped off by this guy as well. Lives in a real nice house but.cant seem to remember ever getting your order. Can sure pick up the payment quick though. Tried calling but never returns calls or answers seems to remember shippIng it when PayPal asks though. Liar and a theif. The portland robotics group claims some affiliation but won't do anything either. Seems to think anyone from out of his country is free money. His address. Can be found with a little digging. Talked to the police about this guy but I'M from Canada so they couldn't care less. Went there in person and swore a complaint and nothing happened.

I've ordered from Junun about 5 times. Sometimes slow and often no email response, but he always delivers.

I've also ordered about 3 times with no problems. The orders came via USPS to Pennsylvania and took about a week.
