Cermetek 1786A object? Not wanting to reinvent the wheel

In an effort to not duplicate efforts on this forum, has anyone created an object yet for the Cermetek 1786A device that used to be supported by Parallax but can now be purchased directly from Cermetek?

    Brian,

    As a serial device you could use the Full Duplex Serial object, but it would be nice to have a wrapper which handled the command strings and carrier detect, etc.
