I'm curious if anyone has added audio ability (amp?) to their protoboard, and would share their configuration. (and maybe what they would have done.) turn.gif

    If you are after a way to do it then i would just solder the components directly to the board.
    The demo board uses the following circuit.

    There are simpler ways to get audio out of the Propeller. See http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=606294 for an audio output circuit using a resistor and two capacitors.

    Just out of interest is there a way to record something onto the propeller and play it back later.

    Sorry for using your topic (saving on room). smile.gif

    No reason why not, but RAM space is very limited. Could record to SD card, using rokiki's SD object I guess. And I seem to remember mention of a demo that uses a microphone; I think it was an FFT demo?

    <EDIT>
    Try starting with Chip's microphone_to_headphone demoe here: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=587520

    You'll always have as many take-offs as landings, the trick is to be sure you can take-off again ;-)
