Measuring Sound Strength

Anyone can give me an idea how to measure sound strength using BS2? Any reference for sound strength to pulse width conversion?

Seems like lots of folks the last few days need to measure sound levels. This thread has a nice circuit for measuring sound levels. The gentleman who designed this circuit uses 8-bit A/D converters (not pulse widths) to read the sound level, but this may be something along the lines of what you are looking for.
