    Hi Edwin,

I recommend Zephyrtronics. One advantage is that their paste is formulated for benchtop work and long shelf life. They recently added a lead free paste and they still have traditional no-clean and RMA 63-37 pastes.

    Thanks

McMaster has the syringes, you just have to fill them with paste.

    Search for Solder Paste.

    Hi Edwin,

I've had no trouble getting parts from Farnell in UK. However, the shipping charge and duties can add up, so look first at domestic suppliers. I think Newark-in-one and Farnell are pretty much the same company, although they don't have exactly the same inventory.

If you order solder paste from Zephyrtronics, or anyone else for that matter, they will ship the paste an ice-pack, and you should store it refrigerated with the syringe held vertical with the tip down.

You might also try feed stores--veterinary supplies for animals. Regular drug stores have small syringes for diabetic insulin injection behind the counter, but large gauge needles are a problem. I've cut small pieces of tubing (like inside pens) before and epoxied them in place...
