OLED Hookup

I have a oled display from sparkfun.com, and their carrier board.· Does anyone know if I can use a basic stamp 2 to display things on it?· The website has some example code, which i think i can probably translate, but my problem is that I have not idea how to actually connect it to the stamp?· If anyone can give me some clues on how to get this going I would appreciate it.· Below are links to the product that I have.

Hello,

The User Manual actually provides the most complete information. It’s a good idea to read it through before connection since even though you can power the uOLED from 5V if you are communicating using a 5V uC you need a 1K resistor into the RX line on the uOLED module. It’s basically just 5V, GND, RX and TX. Whatever pin the BASIC Stamp is transmitting from will connect through the 1K resistor into the RX pin on the module and the TX line from the module will connect to the input pin on the BASIC Stamp. I have tried a few modules and the work nicely. I hope this helps. Take care.
