connectiong batteries help

i have 4 motors and 4 hb-25 motor controllers i would like to know how to connect the batteries to these motors.

I was thinking of connecting 1 battery for each pair of motors but how would i do this. I also would like to add an on and off switch to cut the power going from the batteries to the motors.

Batteries are 12v each. I am making a 4 wheel drive mobile bot. each motor has an hb-25 connected to it.

If you want to use 4 batteries at 12 VDC connect·the positive termials together·connect the grounds to a ·a BIG main power switch.. Run wire from the positive battery(s) terminal connection point directly to your· speed controllers positive input. Run the Switched·Ground side of Your BIG Power Switch to the ground inputs of your speed controllers. Kinda like this crude drawing...
