linking dell trackpad to bs2

Does any one know how to link a ALPS 56AAA1805A track pad to a bs2 stamp? an old friend was going to through out this old DELL PPX laptop, and now I'm trying to connect its track pad to the bs2. Any Ideas or am I out of my mind?
