Parallax Servo Controller - USB and Linux

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but its not easy to find exactly what I'm after. Has anyone sucessfully used the Parallax Servo Controller - USB·with Linux? Did you need to install the FTDI drivers and which one worked the best?
