i have 4 motors and i connected each pair to one h-25 m controller:
M1=+
M2=-

i wanted to know if i had to connect one motor controller to the other one.

Objective:

i want to·controll 4 motors via 2 h-bridges (2 on each hb-bridge).

just wanted to know if i was doing it right.

with this setup how do i make the robot turn right or left?

Hey thanks guys for the feed back. I know i can always count on you guys no mater how dum the question.

    I'm assuming then, that you're trying to control a front-wheel and back-wheel on the same side, with the same H-Bridge/H25.
    And then you're trying to steer using differential drive -- left side and right side moving forward to go forward, left and right side going different directions to turn.

    I would think this would work. The only thing you have to check is the amount of current going to both motors on the same side. As long as it doesn't exceed the H25 limit, you should be ok.

    A parallax personel told me to use a 20a fuse instead of 25a.

    do i still have to connect one hb-25 to the other one?

    thanks for your help

    No, you don't have to. If you DO, you can control both HB-25's with a single I/O pin, the PDF file (downloadable from Parallax) can tell you how.

    Personally, I'd tend to still use two I/O pins, just to be sure. But it's nice to have the option.
