I think that a smaller version of the propeller should be made.
this way, an SX chip- sized propeller could fit on every breadboard and soldering board.
Much like the chip on your educator kit.
Is that chip buy able seperately?

    Some preliminary work has been done on a Propeller chip module that fits in BASIC Stamp module sockets. Here is a link to a discussion about it in the BASIC Stamp forum: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=616718.

    Also, the 40-pin DIP version doesn't do such a bad job of fitting on breadboards and soldering boards. Here's a close-up of the Propeller chip socketed in the Propeller Education Kit's breadboard:

    Also, look at the PropStick USB which includes most of what Andy showed on the breadboard - all on a 40 pin substrate (USB programming interface, 3.3V regulator, crystal, reset button, EEPROM)
