I would like to microcontroller(stamp2p40) send e-mail whenever needed. But i don't know what kind of device i need to connect microcontroller and it will connect wireless and send e-mail. There won't be a computer to send e-mail.

I am waiting for your replies.

Thanks

    Check out the PINK module:

    Parallax Info/Manual:

Use a wireless access point to connect PINK wirelessly.

Shameless Plug (please answer my question):

·· Thank you for your message.

    · I read the product details but it isn't clear. I will code controllers with computer. But after that point there on't be any computer, system will be alone. But there will be wireless. I think PINK module needs computer to process, is it able to connect wireless without computer and sending e-mail from this module just with wireless connection?

The PINK module does not need a computer (other than the microcontroller). It is not wireless, so you'll need an ethernet to WiFi adapter.

    Hi Mike,

Could you explain a bit please?

Microcontroller + Pink Module and i will connect ethernet to pink module and with ethernet i get WiFi connection, then i am able to send e-mail via WiFi. Am i right? i mean the logics?

You need Microcontroller + PINK module + WiFi bridge. An example of a WiFi bridge is an SMC-2671W wireless ethernet bridge. Several companies make them.

Try to read about gprs/gsm modems. You can send a SMS to your cell phone instead of send an e-mail.
I think you can send an SMS to an e-mail, but I'm not sure.
