Does anyone know which AD592 chip is used in the Parallax AD592 Temperature Probe (#28130)?· The chip comes in the following 3 options;

··············· MAX CAL ERROR········ MAX ERROR········· MAX NONLINEARITY
MODEL············ @ 25 'C··········· -25 'C to +105 'C······ =25 'C to +105 'C
AD592CN·········· 0.5 'C··················· 1.0 'C······················· 0.35 'C
AD592BN·········· 1.0 'C··················· 2.0 'C······················· 0.4 'C
AD592AN·········· 2.5 'C··················· 3.5 'C······················· 0.5 'C

Obviously there is quite a cost difference between the different options.· Just wondering ...

Thanks,
Chris

    I don't know which AD592 grade is in the probe. However, a single point calibration will work with any of them, so that once that is done, the remaining intrinsic error is the nonliinearity error, which not so much different between the grades.

    Chris,

    The part we’re using is the AD592ANZ. I hope this helps. Take care.
