Scribbler problem?
Hello,
I just got my Scribbler.· I thought that when it is first turned on, that all 3 green LED's are supposed to light.· On mine, only the first and third light, the middle one does not.
Secondly, when the Scribbler moves, the left wheel rotates slower than the right wheel - is this normal for this robot?
Thanks for any help.
Mike

If you have not done so already, start by downloading the 1.0a version of the software.· The calibration method in 1.0a is quite different to the 1.0 version.

This version also has a sensor observation deck feature that you can use to make sure your center light sensor is working properly.· With your Scribbler hooked up via the serial cable and the power on, click the button to the right of the question mark button on the toolbar.· That will open up the sensor observation deck, and you can see a display of what the sensors are seeing.
Sometimes the ambient light in a room is uneven enough so that all three sensors don't pick up enough to turn on all 3 leds with the default demo program.
After calibration and playing with the sensor observation deck, you can restore the factory program with the little Scribbler-with-halo button on the toolbar.
Let us know if all is working properly.

I will check out the above suggestions for calibration once the new Scibbler arrives.· Thanks!
