    Interesting, there is another, older system that walks up walls and can position a camera and mike to peek in windows.
    This is more exotic. The mechanics are quite creative.

    Incredible technology·and an amazing simulation of real gecko lizard capabilities·- thanks for pointing it out - the web site has a lot of information on the research and·development process. The 'spy' capabilities mentioned by Kramer·may be the reason why the project is DARPA funded!
