Propeller ASM objects needed?

Hi
I just got my propeller protoboard and am currently building a portable propeller development system... With Propeller evaboard, Fujitlsu Lifebook B142 and some testing goodies it is quite handy little system. (picture attached, i think?)
My question is.. As an learning experience I've intention to make couple Asm-level objects and I'm now looking for ideas for development basis.
At the moment I have listed three potential projects in order of estimated difficulty.
- Multi-serial-module .. (multiple ports with one cog for slower speed Async needs)
- Can bus protocol (Don't have necessary hardware)
- Low speed USB directly from Propeller
