laser sensor
quick question
Posts: 50
I am interested in using a BS2 to detect a laser, and more particularly the strength of the recieved signals.
I have found a couple of sensors that will output a change in frequency or change in output voltage.
Which type is better to couple to a BS2?· I'm not sure if the BS2 can sense changes in frequency from this chip -

The sensors you ask about are the same sensors that we sell, and there is example code to help you get going on your project.

Do you mean that the light sensor you gave the link for will detect a returned laser signal?
Does this mean that I could make a laser range finder based on the light sensor?
Sensing the returned pulse from a laser has never been a particular problem. Doing is in a timely fashion (lightspeed) IS a problem. There are ways of doing it, but no inexpensive and reliable ways of doing it.
