Here·is a speadssheet I calculated and confirmed on the bench of the comparators interaction with the AD5220 resistors.·The positive side of the Dig. Pot is always in parallel with·a 5K·internal·resistance to the upper comparator·and the negative side is in parralel with 2 - 5k resistors.·the lower comparators negative pin connects in between dividing the voltage.
Applying Thevenin's Theorem I came out with the table below:
The Yellow is the effective throttling range of the circuit - hopefully this answers your question on how·the control·works.
