Hi
I'm using some time now the SX28 with an sxkey and program him in sx/B. I created some projects with it at my total satisfaction. I was now thinking of trying something on an sx48.
The questions are : Can I program an sx48 also with an sxkey and in sx/B.
and
What is the differance between a SX48BD-G and the SX48BD
Seems like a stupid question.

Yes you can program the SX48 in SX/B and using the SX-Key. Probably the easiest way is to get the SX48 Proto Board since the SX48 is a surface mount part. For $9.95 it has the regulator, proto board area, access to all I/O, etc. As for the difference in the parts you asked about, the –G part is a lead-free version of the SX chip. That is the only difference. Take care.

I'm going to order some and test them on that board.

The protoboard already has the SX48 on it, so no need to order it separately. Take care.
