"Mass Loading of Program"

edited 2007-02-13 23:13 in BASIC Stamp
Good afternoon, Everyone!

Is there a way to load a BS2P40 program on to the device without using the editor?

There is concern with the company I work for about having the code corrupted during the loading process.

Thanks!

If you go to the File menu on the Editor you will se a choice called "Generate Object Code" where you can make a single EXE that when ran will be downloaded to the controller.

There is also a small hardware device called the Stache used mostly for field upgrades of a Stamp program. This runs off a 9V battery, looks like a Stamp to the Editor and looks like the Editor to a Stamp. You can store several programs in it (or several parts of a multi-slot program). Search for Stache on the Parallax website.

These are both great suggestions. I had not seen either of these as options.
