I'm in need of ideas for some sort of sound reciever based on decible level.
My team and I are in production of a product that locates lost household items. We're putting a receiver device on each object, and based on the number of claps that one makes, the corresponding receiver to that item will make a beeping sound so the person can locate that object in the room.
We are savvy in making the actual circuits already (MultiSim). However, I'm a novice in the electronic field, so I would appreciate if anyone could help with the specific types of hardware/chips needed for this project, whether it be on parallax or any other electronic site. Thanks.
